It's really funny to me how long I've had and (sorta) maintained this account, because so many other relics of my internet past are long defunct. MySpace, LiveJournal, AOL. I wish I still had my LJ login info. Related: I recently went through a bunch of old files on my portable harddrive and found several dozen LJ avatar icons I had made with PaintShopPro, back in the day.
My love of photo-tweaking has never gone away, though I'm mad rusty. I dipped my toe back into the water with my boyfriend's old copy of Macromedia Fireworks 8. I then dug up my old copy of Photoshop Elements. I had only ever really learned rudimentary understanding and mastery of basic editing skills, so now I'm trying to learn more. Like, I just figured out how to download and utilize brushes. Baby steps, people!
Spent the last year basically just working my ass off at my day job but not getting anything artistically done. The new year has proven pretty solid so far; I'm becoming much more productive. I don't know if photography is something I want to make money off of, but I sure as hell enjoy taking pictures and doing make up, so it will definitely continue as a hobby, for now.
With the Game of Thrones wallpaper series, I'm just playing and learning photoshop as well as indulging my nerdiness.
As far as traditional art goes...well, I'm so rusty that drawing the human figure had me frustrated almost to the point of tears recently. I'm basically relearning everything I knew. It's coming back quickly, but I am not pleased with how much I've slacked off and what it has cost me in terms of my ability.
In other news, I have actually begun to audition. Holy shit! You mean that thing that you moved to NYC to do four years ago? You're doing it? Fuck, yeah I am! And having a good old time, too. So I'm being all kinds of artsy fartsy. Though I haven't quite mustered the courage to go to a poetry open mike. Remember: baby steps.

[EDIT: Also, I updated this journal almost exactly a year ago. IS YOUR MIND BLOWN]
